SNA holds Blood Drive on HFC’s East Campus Nov. 10-11

The HFC Student Nurse Association (SNA) is sponsoring a blood drive from 9:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 10, and Thursday, Nov. 11 in Study Room 109B at the School of Nursing (Building B), on the East Campus at 3601 Schaefer Rd. in Dearborn.

“Every two seconds, someone in the United States needs blood. Blood is essential for surgeries, cancer treatment, chronic illnesses, and traumatic injuries. Whether a patient receives whole blood, red cells, platelets or plasma, this lifesaving care starts with one person making a generous donation,” said HFC nursing instructor/SNA faculty advisor Cathy Gangarossa.

Donors should be sure to eat a healthy meal and drink plenty of water before giving blood.

The SNA will also host a bake sale during this time

The bake sale will feature the SNA's famous walking tacos and other delicious treats.

Appointments are preferred

Walk-ins are permitted as the schedule allows.
