What is the Social Venture Challenge?

The SVC is a business plan-style competition designed to inspire college students to propose solutions to pressing social issues. Review all eligibility criteria.

HFC and the Resolution Project will host the SVC April 8-9. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, this year’s SVC will be held virtually.

This competition is open to not just HFC students, but all undergraduate students in the state of Michigan. The SVC will attract talented and idealistic leaders, giving undergraduate students who are looking to make an impact in their communities a Resolution Fellowship opportunity.

Do you have an idea to impact your community but need the tools and resources to turn your idea into action? The Resolution Project offers a lifelong Fellowship that includes seed-funding, mentorship, and access to a wide community of social entrepreneurs – everything you need to turn your idea into action today! The 2020 event saw several students awarded a fellowship of $5,000 from several different colleges and universities in Michigan.
