HFC Winter Break: campuses will be closed Dec. 23 through Jan. 2
Both Henry Ford College campuses will be closed starting Thursday, December 23, 2021 and will remain closed until January 3, 2022.
All campus offices will be closed, and no classes or official business operations will take place during these dates. We wish all faculty, staff, and students an enjoyable end-of-year break! Happy holidays to those who celebrate; a restful and safe break period to all.
Info for students
The first day of classes for Winter semester will be Monday, January 10, 2022. Class registration is OPEN during the winter break!
If you need assistance with Winter enrollment or registration, we recommend you attend Hawk Power Hours January 5, or Cyber Services Saturday, January 8.
You may also leave an email at enrollmentservices@hfcc.edu, but please do not leave urgent messages, as this email address will not be monitored throughout the break.
Info for faculty and staff
Campuses are closed, and buildings are locked until January 3. Any faculty or staff members who need to be on campus during the break for any reason (except Facilities and Campus Safety staff) must:
- Fill out the required screening form
- Notify Campus Safety and Facilities of where you will be on campus, and when
- Wear a facemask during your time on campus
- Make sure all office and common areas are locked/secured according to closure procedures
