HFC alumni earn promotions with the Farmington Hills Police

This summer, the Farmington Hills Police Department promoted six police officers. Two officers, Mark Rash and Michael Flatt, are HFC alumni.

A 25-year veteran, Rash has been promoted from sergeant to lieutenant in the patrol division of the operations bureau. Rash has received 20 department citations and awards during his career. An alumnus of HFC and the University of Michigan-Dearborn, he is currently enrolled in the School of Police Staff and Command.

A 22-year veteran, Flatt has been promoted from sergeant to lieutenant in the patrol division of the operations bureau. Flatt has received 33 department citations and awards during his career. He is an alumnus of HFC and Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota.
