Dating Violence Awareness Month
Henry Ford College is committed to ensuring the safety and well being of our students. The month of February represents Dating Violence Awareness month. Our goal is to bring awareness and provide resources to individuals who have experience some form of physical, mental, or sexual violence.
To support dating violence awareness and the unity required to make social change, we invite the public to show solidarity by wearing something orange (i.e., hat, wristband, ribbon, scarf, shirt). Take photos of yourselves, friends, family, and colleagues wearing Orange and tag HFC’s social media along with #HFCWearsOrange #HFCAnti-Violence #TeenDatingViolence
Please share it with your colleagues and friends to help promote awareness and provide important information to those who might need support.
