As an institution of higher learning, HFC is gearing up for this year’s Presidential Election (to be held Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2020) in helping to prepare students (and employees, if applicable) to participate in our democratic process. It is important that students are registered to vote, as well as informed of the voting laws and their voting rights and responsibilities as a registered voter.

Monday, Feb. 24, 2020 is the deadline to register to vote in the Presidential Primary, which occurs Tuesday, March 10, 2020. Students can register to vote or update their voter registration address in Michigan.

Students can also register to vote by visiting the Office of Student Activities in Rm. M-105, located in the Student & Culinary Arts Center (Bldg. M). HFC Student Activities Officer Cassandra Fluker will be registering students to vote during Welcome Back Days Jan. 28-30.

Voting requirements
