HFC’s Writing Center provides eTutoring and appointments all summer

The Writing Center is open for Spring and Summer 2020

The HFC Writing Center is open for the Summer 2020 semester which ends Aug. 14. Both eTutoring and online appointments are available every week.

The purpose of the Writing Center is to provide one-on-one support for writers of all levels. It is a hub for exploring, developing, and enacting writing at HFC. The Writing Center is for any writer at any level, at any stage of the writing process, providing the support you need. Respondents in the Writing Center work with you to provide you with a fuller understanding of the academic, social, and cultural effects of writing.

The Writing Center offers self-service resources via its LibGuide.

Available to help faculty and staff too

Respondents in the Writing Center are available to partner with HFC faculty to develop writing-related workshops and course-specific materials. If interested, contact writingcenter@hfcc.edu.

HFC faculty or staff who are working an article, graduate school essay, or materials for their courses can create an account in WCOnline and make an appointment. You may also contact the Writing Center directly at writingcenter@hfcc.edu.
