Ad for Suit-Up event featuring a well-dressed man and woman
The Suit-Up event features exclusive discounts and sales of up to 60% off for the HFC community.

HFC is teaming up with JCPenney for its Suit-Up Event Sunday, Sept. 22, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the JCPenney in Fairlane Town Center, located at 18900 Michigan Ave. in Dearborn (just down the street from HFC).

All HFC students and employees with a valid HFC ID will get up to 60% off select men’s and women’s professional apparel, including suits, ties, dresses, sports coats, dress pants, shoes, and other accessories – everything you need to finish your look for that next interview or new job! In fact, this extra discount will be in addition to any current sales going on in the store. For example, if an article of clothing is 20% off, then HFC students and employees will receive an additional 40% off, resulting a total of 60% off.

Other services include:
• Sephora Inside JCPenney: Stop by for a FREE mini-makeover and sample.
• Salon: FREE consultation or schedule a hair appointment.
• Portrait Studio: Professional headshots starting at $29.99. Stop by or book online.
• JCPenney Mobile App: Download prior to the event to earn $10 rewards.

“This is all part of the services and benefits offered through the College’s Career Services Office (CSO),” said Ashley Hodge, Career Services Team Member. “Wearing professional attire is a necessary first impression at a job interview and the first day on the job.”

The store will be closed from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., but open exclusively to all HFC students and employees. They must bring their valid HFC ID to gain entry to the Suit-Up Event.
