HFC will host a pre-education orientation session for pre-education majors and others interested in education on Friday, Oct. 11, in the K-14 auditorium in the basement of the Liberal Arts Building (Bldg. K on the main campus) from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Attendance is highly recommended for pre-education majors. Comprehensive program information will be presented, as well as the opportunity to get certified in using Stop the Bleed kits. This orientation session will help prospective students understand HFC’s pre-education program and will help new students stay on track. It will detail program requirements and recommendations for all students who are interested in pursuing a career in education.

“If you are a pre-education major and have program, course, MTA, or transfer questions, this is an event you don’t want to miss!” said HFC pre-education director and education professor Patricia Lanzon.

This event is free and open to anyone interested in pre-education. For questions or further information, contact Lanzon at 313-317-1532 or planzon@hfcc.edu.
