HFC Hosts Pre-Education Conference March 22

HFC will host a Pre-Education Conference for people interested in learning about different areas of education Friday, March 22, on the first floor of the Andrew A. Mazzara Administrative Services & Conference Center (ASCC) (Building L) on the main campus from 9:00 a.m. to noon. The theme for this year’s conference is “What’s MY Teacher Power?”

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. in the ASCC lobby. A continental breakfast will be served.

“This conference is for any community member and/or high school student interested in learning more about the field of education. It is a great way to get introduced to a variety of educational areas,” said Dr. Patricia Lanzon, HFC Pre-Education Director.

Faculty members from the HFC Pre-Education program will be available to answer questions as well representatives from several universities. They will disseminate university information as well.
