Annual 5101 Holiday Buffet Nov. 13

Fifty-One O One – the student-run restaurant at Henry Ford College in the Student & Culinary Arts Center (Building M) on the main campus – will host its annual Holiday Buffet Wednesday, Nov. 13. The restaurant will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for brunch and from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. for dinner.

The menu features these holiday delicacies:
• Roast turkey (with pan gravy and bread dressing)
• Baked Dearborn Brand Ham (glazed with raisin cider sauce)
• Carved Baron of Beef Au Jus
• Made-to-order omelet station (brunch only)
• Harvest squash soup

The side dishes include:
• Mashed potatoes
• Sweet potatoes (with pecans and maple glaze)
• Fall vegetable medley

There will also be a salad bar, where customers can choose:
• Citrus kale salad
• Marinated beet salad
• Garden green salad
• Creamy coleslaw
• Cranberry relish
• Pickled vegetables
• House-made dressings

For dessert, choose from:
• Assorted seasonal pies and torts

“The buffet is the perfect start to the holiday season,” said Lauren Wallace, HFC hospitality instructor. “The event has become a tradition to many, and we welcome everyone. We are open every week with a menu featuring exceptional ingredients at the peak of the season.”
