Wireless improvements begin; crews in all buildings

April 30 marks the beginning of upgrades to the campus wireless system. The new upgrade will triple the current wireless coverage, and the College will be able to fully support mobile classrooms.

Cabling crews will be working in every building on both campuses over the next few months to improve the bandwidth and speed of our wireless network. There will be two crews working days and midnights so they can avoid working in classrooms during teaching hours.

Some access to individual offices may be required to set access points.

The project is scheduled to be completed no later than the end of August. Estimates suggest it might be completed by July.
