The Employee Recognition and Engagement Committee asks for your help, to assist new students in navigating our campus and meeting friendly people.
We are seeking volunteers to greet students and help them find their way around main-campus locations during the opening days of Winter 2019 semester, Jan. 7 and 8.
Review the attached map indicating the 6 locations for which volunteers are needed.
Go to the sign-up spreadsheet to view the time slots and locations during which volunteers are needed. [Note: you'll be directed to the HFC employee portal and will be required to log in with your full HFC email address and password. This is required in order to protect your identity as you use HFC's Microsoft OneDrive services.]
Type your name into cells to indicate that you'll volunteer for the corresponding time slots at the corresponding locations. Your information will be automatically saved after it's entered.
Show up (please!) at the appointed location at the date(s) and time(s) for which you've volunteered.
A request for those who supervise others: As we have Cabinet support for this effort, please consider allowing those who report to you to volunteer time for this effort without that time counting as a lunch hour or as break time.
