Important Notice to Campus Safety Authorities: Requirements of Your Role

To comply with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (20 USC ยง 1092(f)), HFC must provide notification of Campus Safety Authority (CSA) policies and procedures to individuals who are considered qualified CSAs.

Am I a CSA?

A CSA is any campus official who has significant responsibility to monitor student events, escort students, monitor student access and officials (not support staff) whose function involves relationships with students. Basically, if your job includes working with students, you are a CSA. Learn more by following the link below.

Please visit our CSA training page for information regarding the role of a CSA at HFC and review associated policies and procedures for reporting crimes on campus. You can access this training page on the employee portal. The 14-minute video is at the bottom of the page.

Reporting

To report any of the Clery Reportable crimes described on the employee portal link, or if you have any questions about your status as a CSA, please contact Campus Safety at 313-845-9630.
