Henry Ford College’s student-run restaurant's annual Holiday Buffet Nov. 14
Fifty-One O One – the student-run restaurant at Henry Ford College (HFC) in the Student & Culinary Arts Center (Building M) on the main campus – will host its annual Holiday Buffet Wednesday, Nov. 14. The restaurant will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for brunch and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. for dinner.
The menu is as follows:
• Roast turkey (with pan gravy and bread dressing)
• Baked Dearborn Brand Ham (glazed with raisin cider sauce)
• Carved Baron of Beef Au Jus
• Made-to-order omelet station (brunch only)
• Harvest squash soup
The side dishes include:
• Mashed potatoes
• Sweet potatoes (with pecans and maple glaze)
• Fall vegetable medley
Additionally, there will be a salad bar, where customers can choose:
• Citrus kale salad
• Marinated beet salad
• Garden green salad
• Assorted salads
• Cranberry relish
• Assorted relishes
• Pickled vegetables
• House-made dressings
For dessert, the following is offered:
• Pumpkin pie
• Assorted seasonal pies and torts
• Pastry chef’s assortment of treats
Beer and wine will be available for purchase during the dinner hours. The price of the buffet is $15.95 per person (this includes coffee, tea, or soft drinks). Reservations are recommended. To make reservations or for further information, call 313-206-5101.
