Faculty: a new, easier way to submit course grades

As you know, submission of grades has sometimes been difficult with WebAdvisor, because of “time outs” and failed submissions. The College has learned from Ellucian, the company that owns our student information system, Colleague, otherwise known as “HANK,” that WebAdvisor will soon be eliminated, as many parts are no longer functioning.

Now, all you’ll have to do is:

  1. login to WebAdvisor, click “Faculty”
  2. Login
  3. select the new category of “Grades, Rosters, Attendance”
  4. select your course
  5. select the “Grading” tab
  6. select “Final Grade”
  7. begin entering your grades

This format is more user friendly. The good news is that the grades save as you enter, so you no longer have to worry about the “time out” issue. Detailed grading instructions will be sent by email to faculty members.

The Office of the Registrar is available to make departmental presentations if requested. If you are a faculty member requiring assistance with the entry of your grades, please contact the Office of the Registrar or Enrollment Services at 313.845.6403 or registrar@hfcc.edu.
