Fourth Annual Pottery Boutique

HFC's Ceramics Club will host its Fourth Annual Fall Pottery Boutique from Thursday, Nov. 19, to Saturday, Nov. 21, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. This event takes place in the Sisson Gallery, located in the Grant U. MacKenzie Fine Arts Center (Building F).

HFC will showcase the artistic talents of current HFC ceramics students, alumni and select guest artists at this sales event. A robust selection of everyday functional ware, artistic pieces, jewelry and decorative home goods unique to the region’s multi-cultural community will be available.

“We’re very excited to host this event for four straight years, which is one of the best kept secrets in the Metro Detroit art scene. We want this secret to get out, especially because this year’s boutique includes a roster of professional Michigan and Ohio artists whose work is exceptional and highly regarded in the field of ceramics,” said Steve Glazer, HFC ceramics instructor.

This event is open to the public. Admission and parking are free.

Additionally, the “President’s/Collectors’ Early Bird Preview and Advance Sale” will take place Wednesday, Nov. 18, from 4:30 to 8 p.m. and is open to the public. Admission this night only is $5, the proceeds of which will go to the HFC Ceramics Scholarship Fund.
