Michigan Avenue Creative Arts Journal wins 2nd place in National Competition!

Michigan Ave Creative Arts Journal won 2nd place in the Central Division of the National Community College Humanities Association's Annual Literary Magazine Competition 2010 Awards! This is a significant honor--the 2009 issue is the first issue for the journal under this name and represents HFCC's first attempt at this national competition! Congratulations to faculty advisor Ruth Ann Schmitt and all the students who contributed to this issue!

Students, if you have not done so yet, consider submitting a work of art, poetry, essays or short stories to the next issue. The deadline is Nov. 5, 2010.
