The Web Development Certificate is designed to prepare graduates for an entry-level position as a Web Developer, Webmaster, Web Administrator, Web Programmer or Multimedia Developer.

The U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics lists computer occupations as 5 out of the top 20 fastest growing occupations in the economy for 2004-2014. The Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Growth projects the highest number of new career opportunities between 2002 and 2012 (25.8%) to be in the computer and mathematics industries with an average starting salary of $62,000.
