Description: 

This certificate is trains students for future careers in information and communication technology with a focus on networking concepts, router and switch configurations, remote networks, Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANs) and Wide Area Networks (WANs). Core courses provide a broad foundation of knowledge in networking, cabling, and telephony and of skills needed for effective customer service, successful sales and resolution of customer needs. Students who complete this certificate have the knowledge and skills to take the CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA) exam.

Courses in the certificate program can be applied toward an associate’s degree at the College. Students should consult the Counseling Office for more information.
