The HFC Administrators Association, Local 71, will coordinate the Warmer Days Clothing Drive from Monday, December 1, to Thursday, December 11. Local 71 welcomes contributions from anyone.
This clothing drive allows Local 71 to support local schools by providing essential warm items for their students to make it through the winter months. Requested items include hats, socks, hoodies, coats, and some personal care items. Items should be new or very lightly used.
Local 71 is supporting the following schools:
- Salina Intermediate School in Dearborn: Their students need hats, gloves, scarves, sweaters, hoodies, winter coats, etc.
- Redford Union High School in Redford Township: Their students need personal care items.
- Detroit Public Safety Academy (PSA) in Detroit: Their students need personal care items.
- Munger Elementary-Middle School in Detroit: Their students need sweaters and donations to purchase uniforms.
- Hawks’ Nest, HFC’s student food pantry: Local 71 donated money to purchase food and personal care items. If you wish to contribute, please donate online through the HFC Foundation and select the Hawks’ Nest when donating.
