Welcome Back Days for all students, January 23-25
HFC Student Activities is hosting its Winter 2024 Welcome Back Days January 23-25 in the main gathering area of the John McDonald Student & Culinary Arts Center (Building M on the main campus) as the Winter 2024 semester gets underway.
We encourage all students to get involved in activities to enhance their experience at HFC. Welcome Back Days is a wonderful way to embrace to your involvement at the College.
Schedule of Events
Student Services Fair
Tuesday, January 23, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
- There will be tables of different departments on campus and community groups.
- At 11:30 a.m., there will be a One-Man Circus featuring Master Clown Ben Christensen, who is making his return to HFC. His mastery of balance alone -- atop moving objects -- makes this a worthwhile show.
HFC Student Clubs Fair
Wednesday, January 24, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
- Meet student leaders and learn about HFC’s student clubs and activities.
- Student clubs will have their own tables to do demonstrations, including craft activities, games, and much more.
- There will also be a photo booth and Karaoke.
HFC Student Clubs Fair (Day 2)
Thursday, January 25, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
- Meet student leaders and learn about HFC’s student clubs and activities.
- Student clubs will have their own tables to do demonstrations, including craft activities, games, and much more.
- There will also be street-sign making.
There will be plenty of snacks, swag, and freebies for students.
“Welcome Back Days is our biggest event of the semester,” said HFC Student Activities Administrative Assistant Kayla Collins. “It's a great way for students to meet their peers, learn about various departments and resources on campus, and allow students time to participate in fun, exciting, engaging activities! Please join us in Student Activities as we welcome and encourage you to have an amazing Winter 2024 semester.”
