Federally mandated Title IX training for HFC employees and students

W elcome to the Fall semester! Munira Kassim, your Title IX Coordinator at HFC, asked us to share the following with you.

The Federal civil rights law known as Title IX is important to our commitment to equity at our college. Part of this law requires that all students and employees undergo online training so that you will know your rights and understand the law's core requirements.

On Monday, September 18, an email from “SafeColleges” will be sent to your email inbox. This is a legitimate email message, and the links in this email will be safe for you to select. This email will tell you how to access the required training module and when you need to complete the training. You will have 30 days to complete the training.

We need everyone to participate actively in completing this training, to uphold our shared values for safety, equity, and inclusion.
