Along with the Northeast Counterdrug Training Center (NCTC), the United States Attorney Office (USAO) – Eastern District of Michigan, and MAGLOCLEN, HFC will host a two-day Human Trafficking training seminar Nov. 8-9 from 7:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. in the Forfa Auditorium on the first floor of the Andrew A. Mazzara Administrative Services & Conference Center (ASCC) (Building L) on the main campus.

Human trafficking, smuggling, prostitution, and modern-day slavery in the United States are a major and continuing problem. This 2-day training seminar covers more than 16 hours of first-hand experiences and findings relating to organizations engaged in criminal activities that involve human trafficking.

You will learn how the immigration process works and how it is being abused. You will also be able to identify possible fronts located in prospective areas of operation, as well as learn interviewing techniques and ask the questions needed to identify, investigate, infiltrate, and convict the people involved in these crimes.
