Academic Services offers Moodle training

Moodle logo

The eLearning group, an arm of HFC’s Academic Services, is offering Moodle training for instructional employees. Three self-paced training sessions will be offered to accommodate your needs and schedule. Choose the one that works best for you.

Self-paced training methods

1. Individual face-to-face training: You pick the Moodle feature you want to learn, then schedule an appointment with an eLearning Designer. The eLearning Designer guides you step-by-step on how to use Moodle. Training sessions take place on campus.

2. 100% online training: This method uses a 100% online Moodle training course, which takes you step-by-step through each Moodle feature and provides a practice course with a guided format.

3. Combination training: This method is a combination of face-to-face and online training. You work on your own using the online training course and, if needed, you can call, email, or drop by for one-on-one support.

Please see the attached outline for a description of the Moodle training programs. For questions or more information, contact Vicky Bessette at (313) 845-6433 or bessette@hfcc.edu.
