John Carroll, who is retiring this month, asked us to share this message with the College community.

Dear Henry Ford College Community:

You are part of a broad college community, and it's this community that has provided me with so much during the 41-and-a-half years I have been on campus. I want to thank you for the contributions you make toward this community, which has enriched my life both professionally and personally.

At my retirement reception, so many of you came by to wish me farewell. Thank you for showing up, because that event allowed me to say goodbye. To those I did not see, I am saying goodbye now and thank you for making HFC such a great place to work.

It takes everyone to bring out the greatness in this institution. Please continue to contribute as the semesters and years roll on.

HFC is a special place, just like you are a special person. Best wishes as you continue to serve others in this community.

Good bye and best wishes to all of you.
John Carroll, LPC
