About Our Program
If you are looking for a career where your daily work makes a difference, then nursing is for you! The HFC Nursing Program is designed to prepare graduates to be caring, compassionate nurses.
Our program provides a concept-based curriculum that is designed to develop your skill in both the art and science of nursing. By the time you finish, you will be capable of using current scientific and clinical evidence and technology to deliver individualized care, be well-versed in the critical thinking and problem-solving skills necessary to meet the needs of patients, and be thoroughly prepared for entry-level employment in the nursing profession. You will also be qualified to apply to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN).
Our program offers you the opportunity to learn both inside and outside of the classroom. We have a state-of-the-art simulation laboratory where you can practice on life-like mannequins in simulated scenarios, and you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience at clinical sites at more than 20 different hospitals. We also offer articulation agreements with Eastern Michigan University (EMU), Madonna University and the Chamberlain College of Nursing if you are interested in working towards a bachelor's degree without a loss of coursework completed at HFC.

I’ve always felt that I was extremely lucky to have attended the nursing program at HFC because it truly prepared me for real life. The skills I acquired during the program were extremely beneficial, not only for achieving my degree but learning time management as a nurse.
The teachers were always kind and motivating and you really knew that they wanted to be there. I can positively say that attending the nursing program at HFC was the best choice I ever made."
