Facilities

Nearly 1 million square feet of property encompass HFC. As active participants of the community, we are committed to environmental stewardship. Our rental facilities are accessible and convenient. They are designed for meetings, seminars and conferences that accommodate groups of 10 to 350.

HFC's Facilities Services Department is responsible for expanding, upgrading, and maintaining HFC's physical infrastructure. As caretakers of the College's campuses, Facilities Services staff are responsible for housekeeping, building infrastructure, mechanical and electrical systems, grounds and facility rentals year-round, operating seven days a week.

In early 2014, Stantec, Inc., who has served as the College’s architect on multiple campus projects, was contracted to facilitate the master planning process. Their expertise working with colleges and universities across the country has served HFC well; the result is a master plan that provides not only a vision but a tool to use in planning. It will take continued commitment and resources to ensure that we meet the needs of our students and community well into the future. This plan provides the road map.

The Master Plan is a vision for the future; it is a tool from which we can continue to plan and make effective decisions regarding how best to meet the need of our students and community now and in the future. I encourage you to provide feedback and participate in public forums when they are scheduled and announced as the plan progresses.
