HFC is committed to being a student-ready and student-centered college by providing learning opportunities when, where, and how students need or prefer to access them. Adoption of a comprehensive, data-informed, predictive scheduling management system will allow the College to optimize alignment of students’ scheduling/learning needs and preferences with course availability and instructional modality while improving retention, facilitating completion, and maximizing college resources.
Initiative Progress
- Identify and implement a predictive scheduling management platform. (In progress)
- Establishing a consistent and predictable “schedule grid.” (In progress)
- Package courses in bundles designed to increase student success while decreasing time to credential completion. (Pilot in Fall 2023)
