Current research and national best practices reflect that successful Career Services offices work collaboratively with many areas of the institution to highlight the correlation between academic pathways and career exploration.
Initiative Progress
- Complete an assessment of the Career Services Office, using the feedback provided through surveys, national/industry standards, and the National Institute for Student Success.
- Develop a new service and staffing model for the department, shifting from a model that services students primarily to one that services students, alumni, and employers.
- Develop job descriptions for the proposed realigned/new positions.
- Develop and implement a communications campaign surrounding the new service model. (In progress)
