Fifty-One O One Restaurant hosts Oktoberfest Buffet

It's October, which means Fifty-One O One, the student-run restaurant at HFC, will host its annual Oktoberfest Buffet. The event will take place Wednesday, Oct. 18, 11:00 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. for lunch and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. for dinner. The restaurant is in the John McDonald Student & Culinary Arts Center (Building M) on the main campus.
The buffet-style menu will include:
- Bavarian potato soup
- Frankenmuth style chicken
- Sauerbraten (carved to order)
- Bratwurst and knackwurst with sauerkraut
- Braised red cabbage
- Spiced cider apples
- Späetzle
- Hot German potato salad
- Glazed baby carrots
A salad bar will include:
- Tossed garden salad with assorted house-made dressings
- Assorted pickled and fresh vegetables
- Cucumbers with dill-sour cream dressing
- Marinated beet salad
For dessert:
- Apple strudel
- Black forest torte
- German Stollen bread
- Pretzel rolls
Craft beer and wine will be available for purchase at lunch and dinner if you are 21 or older with valid photo ID.
