M-TEC at Henry Ford Community College

The M-TEC at Henry Ford Community College, in partnership with TicTock Studios, has announced new dates for its Film Crew Training Program.

Four different modules are offered: Basic Film Set, Grip, Electric, and Art Department.  Basic Film Set is a prerequisite to all other modules, and each module is designed to teach students the skills, culture, and vocabulary necessary for an entry level position on a film set. The classes are being team-taught by industry professionals that are currently active in the Hollywood film community.

  • Basic Film Set Training: April 20 - May 1, 2009
  • Grip Training: May 4 - 8, 2009
  • Art Department: May 4 - 8, 2009
  • Electrical Training: May 11 - 15, 2009
