MTEC Facilities Rental

Host your event on our campus!

Our 30,000-square-foot training and conference center is designed flexibly to accommodate a broad variety of meetings, training sessions, conferences, and more. Hosting your event at our centrally-located, affordable, tech-enhanced center will help make your event a success. Parking at this location is plentiful and free.


The M-TEC offers flexible options:

  • all amenities under one roof — move from a lecture or a heavy equipment demonstration into a classroom or computer lab;
  • free and convenient parking with security cameras;
  • technical support;
  • a selection of 12 rooms;
  • a fully-equipped auditorium that accommodates up to 120 people; and
  • probable accommodation of your group with 24 hours’ notice.

Broadband internet access is included

M-TEC also provides:

  • Wi-fi for all participants;
  • a digital projector in every room;
  • a videoconferencing-enabled auditorium that accommodates up to 120 people;
  • training using your software;
  • access to 18-station computer labs equipped with the Microsoft Office Suite;
  • computer rooms with teacher’s station and laser printer; and
  • a high bay lab.

Rental Rates

  • Conference Room: $200 per day.
  • Classroom: $300 per day, Expandable Classroom $500 per day.
  • Computer Lab: $400 per day.
  • Testing Room: $400 per day.
  • Auditorium: $500 per day.

M-TEC Building Policies

  1. Room cancellation policy: A cancellation fee of 25 percent of the room rental will be charged for cancellations received less than 24 hours before the event start date.

  2. Building Hours: Doors open at 7 a.m. Monday–Friday. Doors close at 8:30 p.m. Monday–Thursday and 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Access at alternate times may be arranged with approval from the M-TEC director. Additional charges will apply.

  3. Equipment requests or cancellations must be received at least 5 business days prior to your event date. Accommodations may sometimes be made with less notice; additional charges may apply.

  4. Room set-up requirements must be received at least 5 business days prior to event date. Any changes require a minimum of 24 hours notice (one business day).

  5. Customer/event facilitator must check in at the M-TEC main office (Room 105) at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the event and pick up a daily participant sign-in sheet. This form must be completed and returned to the M-TEC main office on the last day of the event.

  6. Customer/event facilitator is responsible for returning any equipment to the M-TEC main office on the last day used. Report of any equipment malfunction or information technology are to be made as soon as possible and prior to the departure from the facility.

  7. Customer software may be installed with a minimum of two weeks advance notice. System limitations may impact the ability to install some software.

  8. Wireless Internet access is available with limitations. If you will need Internet access during your event or require any special Internet access, including VPN or the installation of remote software, a minimum of two weeks' advance notice is required.

  9. Video conferencing is available with limitations. A minimum of two weeks' advance notice of any video conferencing needs is required.

  10. Arrangements must be made with the M-TEC office to pre-test all information technology installations at least 48 hours prior to the event to ensure proper operation.

  11. For the comfort and safety of your event participants, room capacities may not be exceeded.

  12. Equipment such as TV monitors, audio/visual equipment, laptops, and other items are available on a first-come, first-served basis. All equipment requests must be submitted as early as possible.

  13. Payment is due 30 days from the date of event.

  14. A list of catering services will be provided upon request.

  15. Neither Henry Ford College, M-TEC, nor its staff are responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings/equipment brought in by Individuals utilizing the facility.
