CISCO instructor Todd Browning was the subject of an interview in a recent issue of Certification Magazine. Todd spoke of the on-going collaboration between HFCC and Ford Motor Company on a highly successful CISCO program and other joint educational initiatives.

Adnan Salhi, Reading and Language Instructor, had his research article, “Do Test Scores Tell All the Story? A Close Up Look at Students Who Score High On Standardized Tests But Say They Hate To Read” published in the Journal of Curriculum and Instruction.

Jolie Stepaniak and Paul Root, two professors in the HFCC Science Department who teach Biotechnology, won the Innovation of the Year Award. The National League for Innovation in the Community College created the Innovation of the Year Award, which is designed to recognize college faculty and staff members who have designed and implemented a significant innovation.
