Recording Arts Certificate Now Available

The need for industrial sewing professionals in Michigan continues to increase. The HFC Industrial Sewing Certification Program (ISCP) begins Monday, Sept. 21 (for day classes), and Monday, Sept. 28 (for evening classes) to help meet the demand for highly skilled sewing professionals.

Henry Ford Early College (HFEC) – a collaboration between Henry Ford College, Dearborn Public Schools and the Henry Ford Health Systems (HFHS) – earned a rank of 124th out of the top 500 schools in Newsweek’s America’s Top High Schools list for 2015.

Accelerated Learning Program Increases Student Success

HFC used a $5,700 grant to pilot the Accelerated Learning Program (ALP) at the College in late 2014. Grant funding came from the Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) and the Kresge Foundation in Troy, Mich., and was administered from the Michigan Center for Student Success (MCSS).
