Go Hawks!

HFCC student-athletes will conduct a youth education clinic through Sports (YES) at O.L. Smith Middle School in Dearborn as part of the Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) Days of Service on Tuesday, Nov. 12

During the clinic, HFCC student-athletes will provide middle school students instruction in several areas. HFCC baseball players will coach them in the areas of strength and conditioning; HFCC softball players will conduct activities emphasizing the importance of teamwork and communication; and the HFCC basketball players – from both the men’s and women’s teams – will teach offensive and defensive basketball skills. O.L. Smith administrators will select approximately 70 students to participate in the clinic.

Every fall semester, each member school of the MCCAA engages in a service project to benefit the local community.
