The Flick is the winner of the 2014 Pulitzer Prize for drama and was written by Annie Baker. This sweetly demented tragicomedy is set in Worcester County, Mass., in one of the last movie houses in the state that still runs giant film reels on a 35-millimeter projector. Like the rundown industrial region that can barely support even this seedy uniplex, the last three ushers left working the house are doomed for extinction — only no one seems to have broken the news to them.
The Flick will be performed in the Adray Auditorium, June 14-15-16-17-21-22-23 and 24, 2018. Weekdays and Saturdays at 8:00 PM. Sundays at 2:00 PM. Tickets are 12.00 general public and 10.00 for HFC staff, faculty, and any student with student ID.
