As part of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, HFC is partnering with the University of Dearborn-Michigan Women in Learning and Leadership for Take Back the Night on Thursday, Oct. 20, from 6:00 to 8:45 p.m. This event will take place at UM-Dearborn's Kochoff Hall in the University Center at 4901 Evergreen Road in Dearborn.

Take Back the Night is an international event and non-profit organization with the mission of ending sexual, relationship, and domestic violence in all forms. Hundreds of events are held in more than 30 countries annually. Events often include marches, rallies, and vigils intended as a protest and direct action against rape and other forms of sexual, relationship, and domestic violence. TBTN is a place where people join together in solidarity with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault as we empower and support one another through conversation and resource-sharing.
