“HFC prepared me well”

“The continual learning aspect of always developing your skillset really appealed to me, which is why I applied to HFC,” said Rowland. “HFC offered a unique experience and program that made it possible for me to continue my education. HFC prepared me well and gave me a wealth of background knowledge that really proved helpful in my career.”

An alumnus of Wayne Memorial High School, Rowland attended HFC, where he earned his associate degree in applied science in 2017. Upon graduating from HFC, Rowland transferred to Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant. He graduated from CMU in 2020, earning his bachelor’s degree in computer science.

“I feel lucky to have Mark as part of the team,” said Krogol. “Right away we could tell how eager and driven he was, and with his technical aptitude and management experience, I have no doubt he will be a great steward of our data systems. We’re all looking forward to working together to make our tools the most useful they can be.”
