JCPenney to host Suit-Up exclusively for HFC; shuttles provided

The Suit-Up event features exclusive discounts and sales of up to 60% off for the entire HFC community.

Just for members of the HFC community!

HFC is teaming up with JCPenney for a full-day Suit-Up event Thursday, Feb. 27, from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the JCPenney in Fairlane Town Center, 18900 Michigan Ave. in Dearborn (just down the street from HFC). HFC is providing shuttles to and from campus for this event! (see details below),

All HFC students and employees with a valid HFC ID will get up to 60% off select men’s and women’s professional apparel, including suits, ties, dresses, sports coats, dress pants, dress shoes, and other accessories – everything you need to finish your look for that next interview or that new job!

This extra discount will be in addition to any current sales going on in the store. If an article of clothing is 20% off, HFC students and employees will receive an additional 40% off.

New items have been added this semester, including:

• Men’s khakis
• Men’s basics
• Fashion jewelry
• Luggage
• Handbags and more

Other services include:

• Sephora Inside JCPenney: Stop by for a FREE mini-makeover and sample.
• Salon: FREE consultation or schedule a hair appointment.
• Portrait Studio: Professional headshots starting at $29.99. Stop by or book online.
• JCPenney Mobile App: Download prior to the event to earn $10 in rewards.

“This is all part of the services and benefits offered through HFC’s Career Services Office,” said HFC Career Services Team Member Ashley Hodge. “Wearing professional attire is a necessary first impression at a job interview and for your first day on the job. In many jobs, professional attire will be your everyday wear.”

You must bring your valid HFC ID to gain entry to the Suit-Up Event.

Shuttles will run every 30 minutes from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Pick-up and drop-off will be in the roundabout at the Learning Success Center (Bldg. A).
