HFC will host its annual Pre-Education Program Conference for people interested in learning about different areas of education Friday, March 27, 2020 on the first floor of the ASCC (Building L on the main campus) from 8:30 a.m. until noon. The theme for this year’s conference is “Science, Technology, Math, and What Else?”

Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. in the ASCC lobby. A continental breakfast will be served.

“This conference is for any community member or high school student interested in learning more about the field of education. It is a great way to get introduced to a variety of educational areas,” said Dr. Patricia Lanzon, HFC Pre-Education program director.

Faculty members from the HFC Pre-Education program will be available to answer questions, as will representatives from several four-year colleges and universities. These representatives will share information about their respective educational institutions, including transfer options.

This event costs $15 and is open to people who are interested in pursuing a career in education. For questions or further information, contact Lanzon at 313-317-1532 or planzon@hfcc.edu.
