HFC welcomes LaDonna Holley as Executive Director of Human Resources
HFC President Russell Kavalhuna announced today that LaDonna Holley has been appointed Executive Director of the College’s Human Resources (HR) department.
Before accepting the role at HFC, Dr. Holley served for 12 years as Senior Vice President of Human Resources, Organizational Development, and Housing Operations for Presbyterian Villages of Michigan. She was responsible for the development and implementation of Human Resources, overseeing 800 employees across 34 locations. Previously, she was Director of Human Resources at Wayne Metropolitan Community Action Agency, and Human Resources Manager at Renaissance Home Health Care.
Dr. Holley brings extensive experience with teaching and training. She has facilitated the development of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Other primary areas of expertise include human resources management, employee relations, compliance and investigations, and organizational development. She holds a Doctor of Ministry, a Master of Science in Human Resources Administration, and a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource development, as well as certification as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR).

President Kavalhuna expressed appreciation for Dr. Holley’s strengths as a leader. “I look forward to having Dr. Holley join our campus team and our HR department. She brings extensive leadership experience to her role at HFC, and will add new perspectives and expertise to our HR operations.”
Dr. Holley and the Office of Human Resources will report to Dr. Lori Gonko, who has been named Vice President of Strategy and Human Resources.
