Nikole Ford-Kondraciuk Named President of the Michigan Association of Collegiate Registrars & Admissions Officers (MACRAO)

Nikole Ford-Kondraciuk, HFC’s assistant director of Enrollment Services, Assessment and Orientation, was recently named the president of the Michigan Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (MACRAO) for 2017.

“This is an honor. MACRAO has been known for many great initiatives and I am excited to see what we can accomplish in the next year, especially related to transfer student initiatives in the state of Michigan. I am looking forward to serving as the president of MACRAO,” she said.

MACRAO – an affiliate of the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO) – is a nonprofit, charitable and voluntary professional education association of institutions of higher education, which exchanges information concerning issues of common interest to contribute to the advancement of education in the state of Michigan.

Ford-Kondraciuk has represented HFC at both the state and national levels through a number of roles. She served as the president of the Michigan Association for College Admission Counseling (MACAC) from 2011-12. She chaired the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) Metro Detroit National College Fair Committee for six years. Additionally, she’s participated on the Michigan College Application Week Implementation Committee through the Michigan College Access Network (MCAN) and the Michigan ACT State Organization & Council.

A 13-year employee of HFC, Ford-Kondraciuk currently serves on the College Coordinating Council and is a Six Sigma Green Belt Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) facilitator. In 2011, she was awarded the HFC Women’s Recognition Award. Ford earned her undergraduate degree in Journalism from Michigan State University (MSU), her graduate degree in Organizational Communications/Public Relations and her Ed.S in Educational Administration both from Wayne State University.
