According to Steven Glazer, an art instructor at HFCC and director of Exhibitions, six prominent artists from the Detroit area will showcase their work at the gallery.

She designed many of the sets seen in the independent film called 'Khu,' which was filmed in Trenton. Her artwork has appeared in the DIA, the Art Effect Gallery in Detroit, and the National Gallery of Zimbabwe in Zimbabwe.
  • John Hegarty: A Kansas native and a two-time alumnus of the University of Iowa, Hegarty has had exhibitions all over the nation, including the Tom Seigal Gallery in Boston, the Little Rock Art Center in Arkansas, the Allen Stone Gallery in New York, and the Kresge Art Museum at Michigan State University in East Lansing.
  • Craig Paul Nowak: An alumnus of the CCS, Nowak's artwork has appeared at the Art Effect Gallery in Detroit and the Brighton Art Guild in Brighton, Mich. He has taught art at the CCS, as well as lectured at the Brighton Art Guild and at Walled Lake Western High School in Walled Lake, Mich.
  • Stanley Rosenthal: A professor of printmaking in the Department of Art and Art History at Wayne State--where he earned his graduate degree--Rosenthal has won numerous national and regional awards both as a printmaker and a painter. He previously served as chair of the Michigan Water Color Society, president of the Michigan Association of Printmakers and artist/advisor to the Graphic Arts Council of the DIA.
  • Nora Venturelli: A native of Argentina, Venturelli draws and paints figures, as well as landscapes. An alumna of the University of Michigan and Eastern Michigan University, she is an adjunct professor at both universities where she teaches drawing and painting.
