Strategy and Information: Planning

The mission of the Henry Ford College Strategy and Information (SI) Division is to collect, analyze and distribute information for the College's planning, decision-making, policy formulation, marketing and communication purposes. The Division encompasses several key departments and areas: institutional research; reporting for local, state and federal agencies; development and implementation of the College's strategic and operational planning efforts; Information Technology Services (ITS); and Marketing and Communications. The Division serves as a clearinghouse for all information related to HFC and disseminates this information to internal and external constituents.

The Strategic Plan guides the annual College Operational Planning process. Operational Planning identifies the specific activities that the College will engage in over the upcoming year in order to achieve the Strategic Goals and Objectives from the Strategic Plan.
