EMS 240 Paramedic V

Course Description: 

Covers specialty topics such as OB/GYN, newborn resuscitation, and pediatrics. Also covers 12-Lead ECG including application and interpretation.

EMS 216, EMS 220, EMS 230, and EMS 295 all with C or better
EMS 225 and EMS 299

Suggested Prerequisites: ENG 131 and ENG 132. It is recommended that students place
into ENG 131 prior to attempting any EMS course.

All advanced-level EMS students must maintain a current CPR card for the Healthcare
Provider, American Heart Association.
