For Parents and Family
As a parent, family member or guardian of a current or prospective student at HFC, you may have questions. HFC offers students:
- HFC is located near several major freeways, including the Southfield Freeway, I-94, and I-96, all of which are minutes away from the main campus. Students can park FREE in any of the 10 large student parking lots on the main campus, located on Evergreen Road and south of Ford Road.
- A bus stop serving both SMART and DDOT routes is in front of the main campus.
- HFC's flexible course schedules include classes during the day, evenings, weekends, online and include semesters lasting 8, 12 or 16 weeks.
A variety of financial aid packages are available to qualified students. To apply for financial aid, all students need to do is fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
We can help students find a way to meet their educational goals.
Today's tuition rates will be frozen for students who graduate from HFC within four years. Any tuition increases will be refunded upon graduation (upon application for a refund). Learn more.
