The following are a sampling of key courses that are a part of the Ophthalmic Technician program.

Done in the Spring Semester of the first year where the students learn how to refract the eyes for glasses. This is an exciting course and students are able to see the results of their work immediately.

An Ophthalmic Photography course is offered during the winter semester of the second year of the Ophthalmic Technician program. In this class, Ophthalmic Technician students are taught how to perform medical photography on the eyes of patients.
