Advanced Kitchen and Bath Studio

All students enrolled in the Kitchen and Bath program must enter into the NKBA annual Kitchen and Bath student design competition. Students must become members of the NKBA and complete the rigorous completion requirements. In 2013, Andres Saavedra was awarded 2nd place for his Kitchen design. He won a complimentary 3 days in New Orleans to receive his $1,500 scholarship where he was honored at two banquets. His Design appeared in NKBA’s design magazine. No other college or university in the state of Michigan has ever won this award. He was competing with entries all across North America.
