All students enrolled in the Kitchen and Bath program must enter into the NKBA annual Kitchen and Bath student design competition. Students must become members of the NKBA and complete the rigorous completion requirements. In 2013, Andres Saavedra was awarded 2nd place for his Kitchen design.

Past class designed a color rendered 3-D image of a proposed interior design for the City of Dearborn. This was another abandoned house that the City asked us to propose a design so they could renovate the house and put it on the market. Students presented the final plans to the Mayor.
